How to calm down your nervous system using your breathing
Did you know that when you breathe in, it activates your stress response; just a little, and when you breathe out, it activates your relaxation response?
If you feel you are getting anxious, the first thing you have to do is regulate your breathing.
Use the video to get your breathing settled, and after a few minutes try to make your exhale a little longer than your inhales (but make sure you still stay comfortable.)
