Many therapists do not adequately understand anxiety, or ignore what happens in your brain
Retrain Your Brain is designed to help with the 3 pathways of anxiety in your brain
I am a Dr of Psychology and have had both anxiety and panic attacks.
I keep the price of my program low to help as many people as possible.
People who have taken my course said it was better than attending their therapist!
Help with your thoughts
We will use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to look at your thought processes and the role they play in anxiety.
I will provide you with all the materials you need to start CBT and you will complete an assessment to see if your anxiety causes you to avoid anything.
Limiting Self Beliefs
This is one of the most crucial parts of the program where you identify the deeply held limiting beliefs about yourself
You will be provided with all the material you need to change your limiting beliefs.
Help with Symptoms and to get out of your head
I will provide you with Mindfulness Meditations in mp3 format and help with worrying.
I will then help you to understand what is happening in your brain to create anxiety.
I will show you how to identify your own early warning signs of anxiety.
Many people with anxiety avoid things. Maybe you avoid presentations, or speaking up in public, or things that you think will cause a panic attack. You will be given help to get your life back by being able to do these things again.
Again all the material is provided.
Retrain Your Brain to get help with
My program uses a mix of
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to address your thought processes; Your Thinking Brain
It also uses information from Neuroscience and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction to calm your amygdala and stop unnecessary instinctual responses; Your Reptilian and Mammalian Brain.
In addition to the program, you also have access to other courses, and I update the content and add more courses every month.
If you have tried to get over anxiety or panic before and didn’t succeed, it might have been that you just tackled one of the above areas. You need to Retrain Your Brain to encourage a different style of learning, and to decrease the things that are keeping you anxious. If you buy flat pack furniture, you will look to the manual before you build (unless you are like me!)If you want to learn a new language or skill, you will take a class and get instruction. Very few of you will take instruction on how your brain works.Anxiety is different for everyone, but it also shares many similarities. For example, your experience of anxiety and my experience may be different. You might be plagued with awful thought processes and can’t stop your mind from racing. And your mind won’t let you sleep at night.
Me? My experience was much more physical. One second okay, and the next, couldn’t breathe.
We could both be labelled as having anxiety, and we will share similarities in that we both need to look to our brain to find out what is happening.
This is the important part. Our answers could well lie in different regions of the brain.
